On Saturday I watched a fantastic band electrify the small afro/latin stage. The band is called Riddim Colony, they are the top reggae band from Hungary, mixing positive lyrics with dancehall riddims they definitly bring the right vibes to the stage

Sziget Festival 2009

This weekend I attended the famous Sziget festival (Thanx alot to dweck and kindler). The festival is in Budapest,Hungary on an island that for a week transforms into a nonstop party for thousands of people from around europe. The music mainly consists of electronic and rock acts. The most impressive show that I saw had to be by the french turntablists Birdy Nam Nam. Imagine head banging electro beats combined with scratches and fantastic visual effects, made me jump like an 8 year old school boy. Check out the link for some of the show
